So You Think You Can Dance - week 6

I honestly don't have much to say. Last night was once again absolutely amazing! I wasn't a huge fan of the Paso Doble, and hope that Randi and Kupono are the ones heading home based on last night. The rest were all wonderful to varying degrees.

Jason and Jeanine in particular left me in tears, though I have no idea why other than the pure beauty. Unfortunately, I can't find a video with out SPAM on it at the moment, but trust me, it was brilliant.

I also really enjoyed the boys' African routine and the girls' Bollywood routine. It was wonderful to see the group performances and experience dance cultures I'm less familiar with.

That we're on the top ten already is unbelievable. Only a few short weeks and America will have a new "favorite dancer". At this time, it's still anyone's guess who it will be!

  2. Unfortunately Fox doesn't seem to think it's necessary to provide full episodes of SYTYD on line. You can catch episode recaps on hulu, but it's more the judges explaining their decision than dancing. Sidereel.com has free episodes, but you can only watch for a certain amount of time and then it makes you "wait" for almost as long before you can start watching again. The best bet might be to search you tube for SYTYCD season 5 and go from there.

About Me

My photo
I'm human, so I've got some issues, but all things considered I guess I'm reasonably normal. My parents are still married. My best friends are my sisters...okay, so I'm normal for the 1850's whatever. I'm opinionated and nerdy. I'm walking the line between tweener-style pop culture love (witness my ever-burning New Kids love and inexplicable Twilight obsession) and elitist culture snob (I can't seem to get enough 19th century British Lit and historical biographies) but, after 30 years, I'm finally learning not to give a crap what anyone else thinks about me. Oh, and those are my feet in the picture. The socks were made by a friend.
